I wish there were more stars to give this place! Absolutely love Southern Sun. The food is outstanding. Especially the build your own grilled cheese. Doesn't sound that exciting I know, but YUM!! Hubby really likes the chips & salsa and their vegan chili. Staff is always welcoming and happy. Yes it is cash only, but the ATM is only a $1 fee. If you go after 9 they have half price mini pitchers every day.

Just a reminder that they are cash only. The wings are by far the best bang for your buck, wish I had a banana for scale to show how massive they were. Sweet chili flavor was great but their homemade ranch needs some thickener. The Philly cheesesteak but decent too. Our friends got the cauliflower wings and they were also good but definitely needed much more hot sauce than what they came with. Service was excellent, we were able to grab beers while we waited and transfer to our table. All the beers we tried were good.

Their wings absolutely changed my life. I’m a huge wing critic and when they recommended their “famous” wings, I was hesitant, but went ahead and tried it. I’m both mad and extremely happy I tried their wings because now my expectations have been set at an all time high now. I have never in my life had better wings than here. My taste buds were ruined in the best way possible. There are 2 reasons why they aren’t getting five stars. 1. Is my husband and I felt like our table was kind of neglected while people around us kept getting served. Not a huge deal 2. They don’t accept card. We live in a digital world. Key West Smallest Bar is only 72 square feet and even they accept cards. Again, not a big deal, I just wish I would have known that prior to sitting down. Had to run to ATM to get cash from my Credit Card. Overall, as long as you bring cash, I 100% recommend coming here

We had a good time eating at this place, but the description was a little misleading. When we read great view of the Flatiron Mountains, we didn't expect to see them seated in the parking lot of a shopping center with the mountains on the other side of the shopping center. We thought there would be an open deck in the back with an unobstructed view of nature. Overall the food was good and tasty with a good selection of craft beer. The buffalo cauliflower was really good. We sat outside, but the inside is huge, nice and clean. The staff is excellent! Very helpful and accommodating. Overall a thumbs up!

I've been coming here since 2008! Laid back spot for drinks and food a little outside of downtown Boulder. The service is always really friendly, but timeliness ranges from super prompt to on the slow side depending on servers. Not a huge deal when you’re hanging with good company, but could be smart to order your next drink when you receive one if it's the latter situation. The burgers, vegan chili, wings, cauliflower wings, quesadilla, and poutine hand-cut fries are all good! Relaxed vibe and family friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. Great spot post hike or ski day!

Cauliflower bites were EXCCELLENT, not even a vegetarian but was sooo good! Burgers and house made fries were excellent, & Speak to me Session IPA to wash it all down was perfect! Good view of the mountains and plenty of room at the tables for everyone.

**CASH ONLY**UNASSIGNED WAITERS** I stopped here to grab beers with a friend for their birthday and I love the beer selection. I do think it's a downside to be cash only and I feel like not having assigns waitresses made it confusing because someone would take our order but then someone else would bring it and not know who ordered what and be confused often. Overall chill atmosphere, good beer, will have to try the food sometime.

I was so impress with the chips in the Mountain Sun pearl branch that i return to the sister branch, Southern Sun on Broadway. Chips turn out to be over fried (very dark colored), with a burnt bitterness. However, kind enough to provide wirh another batch which is much lighter and with much less seasoning. Thanks!!
